It’s important to protect your car from the heat, especially in the UAE.
Before heading off on a summer road trip, you should get your vehicle’s lubrication and cooling checked. Here’s what our Summer Check includes:
- Battery health
- Quality and level of oil and coolant
- Control of all fan and visually visible belts
- Inspection of brake fluid, coolant, oil, or fuel leaks
Drives
We check drive joints, cuffs and suspension – if you have noise in the car, this may be the reason.
If there are cracks in the cuffs or worn suspension liners, bearings, crossings or end joints, they will be worn out and thus noise and slack will occur, in the worst case smoke.
Chassis Checks
We check the status of dampers and springs, wheel suspension, tyre pattern, front and rear brakes, including the quality of the brake fluid. If your dampers are worn out, you easily lose ground contact when you encounter a “washboard” in an outer turn on the way up to the cabin. Worn dampers may also be the reason behind strange noises in your car, especially when driving over a hole in the asphalt. This check will give you an idea of whether you are ready for remote roads, in areas without asphalt.
